St. John\u2019s Church in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, is an important historical and architectural landmark. Built in 1840 during the British colonial period, it stands as a fine example of colonial-era design, showcasing the elegance and character of that time. Located within the campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, the church is not only a place of worship but also a site of interest for visitors because of its history and striking Gothic architecture.<\/span><\/p>

The church conducts services in both Hindi and English, with the English service timings varying according to the season. Its location near the main gate of IIT Roorkee makes it easily accessible to both local residents and visitors.<\/span><\/p>

The church is built in the Gothic Revival style, marked by pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and fine decorative details.
